“Give it up for the Kids” is a nationwide challenge encouraging people to give up their favorite vice, all in support of Children with Cancer UK.
The money you raise will help fund Children with Cancer UK’s vital, specialist research into childhood cancers, and will help to keep families together.
everydayhero is an online fundraising platform. Using everydayhero is safe and secure. Once you register, you'll automatically receive a “Give it up for the Kids” online supporter page. Use this page to share your efforts for Children with Cancer UK with your friends and family.
Absolutely! You can either create your own team when registering your page, or you can join an existing team by searching for the team name when registering and you will then be automatically connected.
You can set your own fundraising target, however if you raise £100 or more you will receive a medal from Children with Cancer UK.
Ideally we would like you to complete your fundraising two weeks after you have finished your month of abstaining!
Every donation you make to Children with Cancer UK could be worth more at no extra cost to you by choosing to Gift Aid it. Gift Aid is a Government scheme that allows charities to claim the basic rate tax (currently 25%) on every £1 you donate to charity.
If you have any offline donations to pay in, you can choose whichever options suits you best:
- Put the money into your bank account and then add this onto your online supporter page
- Make a bank transfer into Children with Cancer UK’s account. Contact your Regional Fundraiser who can supply you with the details.
- Send a cheque made payable to “Children with Cancer UK” to the following address:
